You may not use the Service to build, host, or do the following
Illegal or harmful content
- Anything illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
- Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance, reported to authorities.
- Content that incites violence, terrorism, or self-harm, or that harasses, threatens, or defames people.
- Unlawful hate or discrimination targeting protected groups.
Fraud, deception, and abuse of others
- Phishing, scams, fake login pages, malware, or spyware.
- Impersonating a person or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messaging via apps you build.
- Infringing others’ intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
Attacks on the Service or others
- Probing, scanning, or breaching security; bypassing quotas, credit limits, or access controls; or accessing accounts or data that aren’t yours.
- Overloading, disrupting, or degrading the Service (DoS, excessive automated load) or the systems of others.
- Reverse-engineering the Service, or using it to build a competing product, except to the extent the law allows.
- Using the Service to mine cryptocurrency, run unrelated general-purpose compute, or otherwise abuse the AI, preview, or hosting resources.
Misuse of AI and data
- Trying to make the AI produce content prohibited by this policy, or to extract other users’ data or our confidential information.
- Uploading personal data you don’t have the right to process, or high-risk sensitive data the Service isn’t designed for.
- Presenting AI output as human-authored where that is deceptive or unlawful, or relying on it for regulated advice (legal, medical, financial) without independent review.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including removing or unpublishing content, throttling, suspending, or terminating accounts, and preserving and disclosing information where legally required. We try to be proportionate and, where practical, to warn first — but serious or ongoing abuse may be actioned immediately.
Reporting
Anyone can report a violating published app, no account required:
- Report form: athmane.com/report-abuse. Paste the address you see in the browser bar — normally
<name>.athmane.app or the owner’s own domain. The form fills that in for you only when you arrive from the “Report” link on an app’s status page. - Email: [email protected] with the app URL and what’s wrong.
- Linking to the form: append
?url=<the app address> and the form fills itself in — e.g. /report-abuse?url=https://shop.athmane.app. Every response a published app serves also carries a Link: <…/report-abuse>; rel=“abuse-report” header, so automated tooling can find this page without us altering what the app’s owner published.
We acknowledge reports within two business days and act on verified violations promptly — typically unpublishing the offending app or suspending the account. Serious harms (CSAM, active phishing/malware, imminent-harm content) are actioned immediately.
Copyright complaints follow the notice-and-takedown process in our Copyright & DMCA Policy, not this form.
